Being HIV+ for more than 20 years I may have a different outlook on life and what's important. I am one of the "lucky ones" but never forget the many friends and family that died never having the time to appreciate the simple beauty all around us.

Those that have died from HIV/AIDS are remembered with a portion of the AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT on display each Memorial Day Weekend here in Ogunquit Maine at the Dunaway Center.

A 16 X 20 Print (24 X 30 framed) of  "Fair Winds and Following Seas" shown below was donated to help raise funds to continue bringing the quilt to Ogunquit each year. The winner  drawn on World AIDS Day in December. The photo was also selected to be part of a collection of 101 photos and essays in the book "Fight HIV Your Way."

The photo was a second place winner in the Fight HIV Your Way competition opening in NYC at Grand Central Station, then went on tour to Union Station Washington DC, South Beach/Miami, Venice Beach CA and San Francisco.
